I hated the way this tree was sticking into my beautiful horizon, just couldn't make it work. So I shot a series for a panorama where this tree wouldn't be so prominent. Alas, the computer I brought with me on this trip had Adobe Bridge deleted by yours truly. But I had to post this amazing sky. So wouldn't you know it.. Couldn't I have taken at least one sweet frame of the whole horizon? I did, but the sun went down enough to not shine directly on the puffy clouds to turn them pink. So the only frame I finally figured I could make something of a composition from was this one, with the eyesore tree. It's a forced and contrived composition. The eye doesn't settle easily at any one point and keeps moving about the picture for a bit, but manages to look fiery and give a sense for the clouds and the sunset's color. Hope you like it. I'm not thinking it's such an eyesore right now.
